Arrowhead Republican Women support a number of
​community, political, and patriotic efforts! 

Current Caring for America Activities:

• Our Literacy Committee has generated donations of books to create a 4th Grade classroom library in a local charter school. (pictured L to R: Literacy Chair Jan Webb, Past President Jan Hermsmeyer, teacher Ben Mitchell, and President Robyn Cushman)


• Our Armed Services Committee has generated donations to support our veterans by clipping coupons to support military stationed in Japan through Coupons for Heroes.

*  Support Arizona StandDown with donations and volunteer time
*  Support OCJ Kids with books and Christmas gifts
*  Support Pets for Vets
*  Support My Nail Friend bringing a bit of beauty and friendship to local nursing home residents
*  Donate suit cases for foster children to carry their belongings
*  Donate food to local food banks
*  Donate materials for care packages to our troops
*  Knit helmet liners for our troops
*  Collect pop tabs for local Children of the American Revolution supporting Ronald McDonald House
*  Contribute to scholarships given by the National and State Federated Republican Women - learn more about them on our

*  Support Blue Star Moms
​*  Support America's Mighty Warriors
*  Support abused women's shelters such as New Life Center
*  Create "Knitted Knockers" as soft bra inserts for post-mastectomy patients

Campaign Activities:
*  Train women for political leadership roles
*  Assist candidates' campaigns
*  Encourage an active role in the Republican Party at the Precinct, County, State, and National levels
*  Provide topical, current speakers to enable an informed voting membership
*  Promote awareness of legislative efforts at all levels of government
